tabletop ANDROID (Marc Ferguson) is the callsign and online identity of a general aviation enthusiast with a deep love for both the skies and the tabletop. While originally rooted in a passion for board games and RPGs, tabletop ANDROID now focuses primarily on aviation — blending technical skill with a creative edge.

So while the 20-sided dice may be on the shelf (for now), the name still carries that same spirit of adventure — just with more altitude.

Whether you fly with Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, or another sim, Odyssey offers curated VFR flight plans, handcrafted scenery (MSFS 2024 only), immersive storytelling, and a vibrant community that brings aviation to life.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between the virtual and real-world skies, giving sim pilots the confidence to navigate with purpose, explore scenic routes, and grow their skills—all from the comfort of their cockpit.

I’m proud to be a member of EAA Chapter 690 in Lawrenceville, Georgia (KLZU). This chapter isn’t just a place to talk about airplanes — it’s a community that shows up, serves, and invests in aviation at every level. Being surrounded by builders, pilots, instructors, and enthusiasts who genuinely care about keeping general aviation strong is something I don’t take for granted.

I’m actively involved in our Sim Eagles program, which helps connect students and aviation enthusiasts with real CFIs and experienced pilots. It’s exciting to see simulation used as a gateway into real-world training and mentorship, and I love being part of that bridge.

I also volunteer by managing the kitchen during our Pancake Breakfast events — which, if you’ve ever been to one, you know is no small operation. From coordinating food prep to keeping things running smoothly on event day, it’s one of my favorite ways to serve the chapter. Aviation brings people together, but pancakes definitely help.
